Size: inches

Description:

A contemplative portrait about courage, watchfulness and remaining steadfast through change. The owl sits close to the figure like a quiet companion, surrounded by flowers, sweeping landscape forms and expressive layers of colour. Human, animal and landscape become intertwined, creating a symbolic space between vulnerability and strength — a reminder that courage can also be quiet.

Description:
A dreamlike portrait in which the human figure appears woven into an imagined natural landscape. A hummingbird, flowers, water and distant forms surround her as she gazes upwards, creating a feeling of reflection, possibility and quiet escape. Layers of violet, blue, pink and green build an atmospheric world where thought, memory and nature seem to flow into one another.

Description:
A richly layered portrait exploring memory, nature and our quiet connection with the wild. A solitary swan, birds, flowers and fragments of landscape emerge around the figure, becoming part of her inner world. Expressive marks, sweeping lines and areas of intense colour move between abstraction and recognition, suggesting memories of places, encounters and emotions gathered over time.

Welcome to the website , my name is Beatrice Ajayi. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my art with you. May it be a moment of joy in your day or a place of creative  inspiration for you.

My art explores narratives through visual storytelling, though sometimes the words hover just out of reach. In those instances I can only express myself through the dripping of paint or the splash of colour.

My themes are of innocence, a childhood place of adventure, freedom and a love for nature. My hero’s are from different worlds on the periphery of existence. My collections are complete in their bravery boldness and courage. They are ecosystems that treat others with grace by sharing their spaces. Inviting you in to belong.

Evoking emotions of our past, reminding us that we can sometimes be lonely but community is just fingertips away. So reach out. Be part of their world. They are home, they are a resting place.

A place of healing and renewed strength.

Have the best day. B
