Children’s book ‘Tungsten & Pip’

Hi everyone, I am so excited because I picked up another book of my children’s book collection today. I am planning to sell it at my sons school Christmas fair on the 27th of November.

It took a little time to create using new brushes on the procreate app. But I love it. It was an old story I wrote years ago. My kids love it. It would also make a great Christmas gift. A cute 6 X 6 inch size that fits into most bags of pressies.

Hi everyone, I am so excited because I picked up my latest children’s book today. I am planning to sell it at my sons school Christmas fair.

It took a little time to create using new brushes on the procreate app. But I love it. I always get my kiddies involved in the process. They have a can do mindset. They are inspiring and my little heroes. It would also make a great Christmas gift. A cute 6 X 6 inch size that fits into most bags of pressies.

imageA lot of different things have been going on. Ideas and juices have been flowing, and I am in that place of realising I can’t do it all. So as always I have to take a step back and asses what can be done and flow with it.

Last weekend I took in my ten pieces for the ‘Postcard’ exhibition at The Line Gallery in Linlithgow, west lothian, Scotland, in the town I grew up. The owners Gail and Elisabet have always been gracious to me, since my first time stumbling into their gallery many many years ago. I always love taking part in the exhibitions they hold. The open day of the exhibit is on the 3rd of October 2015, from 2pm to approx 4.30pm.

I have also been looking into creating some Christmas Greeting cards. I am trying to contain it to ten images. Still not sure how many i will print as cards yet, but I have 8 so far. You can find them attached to this post.

My Shop has a lot of new cutie pies too, I am always on the go. I enjoy being able to be creative and my little son and daughter really add to the inspirations.

I am trying to get the light carefree look I get with my digital work. I also don’t want them dark in the background. They have been fun to create. The girl with the presents might be my 2013 Christmas card to everyone this year. I have decided to design one card a year that I give to everyone. They are drawn on used Christmas cards. I asked friends to give them to me instead of throwing them away. As long as they had no sentiment they wanted to keep of course.

I am starting to do my weird and wonderful pieces again. For each new image I want to do short poems or stories. I would really love to illustrate some kids stories I write soon. Doing poems or short stories will get me back into my writing interest again. I want to be able to tell my little ones some bedtime stories with pictures just from mummy. Nite nite
