Sketching Ballerina’s – by Scottish Artist Beatrice Ajayi

I have really been enjoying sketching my little characters. I have so many it’s becoming ridiculous to find the time to colour them. I created this cutie pie today. Hope you love her. Will start thinking of colours that may suit her. Hope you are having a great week so far. 🙂 image

Alice and The Cat Video Process – Art by Beatrice Ajayi

Alice & The Cat

Hi everyone, hope you all doing ok. I have been working on a variety of self directed projects. One of those projects I stumbled into. I decided to create some work in black and white sketchy style. It had been a while that I have done sketches as a focal point of my work. They are usually used as a stepping stool to colour work of late.

I sketched my first cutie and was inspire to create a series of Alice in wonderland sketchy drawings.
This is a link to the fourth in the series of work. You can find other process videos related to the Alice theme in my Youtube.com Channel under my name ‘Beatrice Ajayi’

Cat Balance – Beatrice Ajayi – Scottish Artist

Balancing Cat

Hello on this dry Wednesday. I have had a busy day planning strategies for my Business. I think it will involve some detailed thinking. I really am blessed with how far I have been able to achieve dreams, but there is still some more dreaming left.

I have been doing my usual research looking and reading and video watching on the tube for teaching on reaching more people who would really appreciate my work. Every artist has to think of this so I don’t feel awkward talking about it. It’s all part of running the buisness.

Outside of all the above I have been sketching and painting on my iPad and pen on paper. This cat digital painting is entitled ‘Cat Balancing’. You can view the process here: Cat Balance Video

I recently put these two pieces in the Line Gallery exhibition for March 2010. This is just to say they have been sold. The same lady bought both of them. So ‘Slippery Twins’ and ‘Crocs New Ribbon’ have found a new home.
